Abstract: |
The removal of the Grade II listed boundary wall between Burlington House and St Mary's church to allow for its reconstruction resulted in a 44.3m long by between 0.50m to 0.70m wide trench. Within the trench natural was seen along its entire length between 0.80m and 0.95m BGL, along with several layers of backfill within the construction cut and a series of 19th century gas lamp bases within the Burlington House garden. |
