Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 20 hectares of arable land. There is no evidence of Roman, medieval or prehistoric activity however a number of former field boundaries have been identified, along with several features of possible archaeological origin. The exact origin on these features cannot be determined with any degree of confidence and they may relate to historic activity or be of natural or agricultural origin. The remaining features include areas of geological variation and modern features including land drains, evidence of ploughing and nearby ferrous objects. |
