Abstract: |
A pit 260mm square with a depth of 360mm was excavated at the north gate to the Moat Garden part of the Fulham Palace Moated Site, Bishop's Avenue London SW6 6EA. This pit was for the insertion of a bollard to restrict vehicular access to the Moat Garden. A succession of surfaces dated to the 20th century were uncovered but underlying layers relating to the backfilling of the moat were not reached. |
