Abstract: |
Archaeological monitoring work was carried out for G2 Energy, in support of construction work on land at Netherhall, Sandilands, South Lanarkshire (Planning Ref: CL/15/0091 amending CL/13/0014). These archaeological works are designed to mitigate any adverse impact on the archaeological remains within the development area. The works at Netherhall consisted of an archaeological watching brief during the construction of a wind turbine with its associated substation, crane pad, access track and cable trench. During these works only modern agricultural field drains were identified with no other significant archaeological features being identified. |
