Abstract:		 The evaluation comprised the excavation of fourteen trenches, observation of the grubbing out of the foundations and services of Philberds House and observation and recording of five geotechnical test pits. No archaeological finds or features were found in any part of the evaluation, watching brief or during monitoring of the test pits.
