Abstract: |
An evaluation trench was excavated on land adjacent to The Jolly Miller. A Scheduled Monument (Wiltshire 28997), the remains of part of a medieval settlement, occupies open ground either side of a track to the north of the site. A ditch or trench and two post holes of probable 19th or 20th century date were recorded, but no medieval deposits or features were seen. |
