Abstract:		 On the 23rd of April 2010, the 21st to 23rd of June 2010, 27th and 29th of July 2010, Oxford Archaeology East carried out an archaeological watching brief on behalf of Anglian Water on land to the south of Kirkby la Thorpe, Boston Road, Lincolnshire (TF 0965 4568). The work was carried out in response to a Brief issued by Lincolnshire County Council Historic Environment Team dated 27/10/09 (LCC 09). The majority of the pipeline was laid prior to archaeological monitoring, however, four trenches (two at each end of the pipeline) were monitored. No archaeological features or artefacts were found during this work.
