Abstract:		 A scheme of archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken on land to the east of Nos. 1 and 2 Ruby Villas during the construction groundworks for the erection of semi detached dwellings at plots 5 and 6. These works exposed a large modern rubbish pit and associated dumps of building materials and debris but no significant archaeological features or horizons were identified.
