Abstract:		 In July 2014 Archaeological Research Services Ltd. were commissioned by CgMs Consulting on behalf of RJK Projects Ltd. to undertake an archaeological evaluation on land at Milton Road, Repton, Derbyshire, prior to development. The proposed development related to the construction of 33 new dwellings and associated access works. Three trenches were excavated during the evaluation, each measuring approximately 30m in length by 2m in width. Evidence of ridge and furrow was observed in Trench 2, along with ceramic finds from both the topsoil and the subsoil of Trenches 1 and 2.
