Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeologly in February 2012 at the request of Nexus Heritage on behalf of Bloor Homes Ltd at Land at Moira Road. Eighteen trenches were excavated. Furrows were identified in trenches 1, 2, 5, 8 and 12 on the same alignments as the ridge and furrow shown in the geophysical survey report. An area of undated archaeological activity comprising undated pits and posthole, all containing stoney charcoal-rich fills was revealed in Trench 3.
