Abstract:		 John Moore Heritage Services conducted a Watching Brief during alterations at Burnham Abbey, Buckinghamshire (SU 93060 80460). This included alterations to the sewerage and drainage systems (Areas 3 and 4), the moving of a fire escape (Area 1) and the cutting of a foundation for a lift shaft (Area 2). In all locations any medieval archaeology that had previously existed on the site would appear to be destroyed. The most significant layers were destruction layers associated with the post-medieval period.
