Abstract: |
An evaluation comprising two machine-excavated trial trenches was undertaken by Network Archaeology on the 9th and 10th February 2011 on the proposed site of a new teaching block at Rochford Campus, Boston College. The results show that the area evaluated is made up predominantly of modern made ground. A thick layer of alluvium was observed in the bases of both trenches and no archaeological remains were observed. The potential impact of any development on the site is considered to be minimal. |
