Abstract: |
Analysis by dendrochronology of cores resulted in the production of a single dated site chronology comprising five samples. The site chronology is 192 rings long, these rings dated as spanning the years 1342-1533. interpretation of the sapwood on the samples indicates that all dated timbers were cut as a single programme of felling in 1533 |
