Abstract: |
Northamptonshire Archaeology was commissioned to carry out an archaeological geophysical survey on Newhouse Field on the Manor of Cadland Estate to the east of Langley, Hampshire. The fieldwork comprised a detailed magnetometer survey of approximately 12ha and was carried out in February 2011. The survey identified two enclosures and former field boundaries. Ferrous objects were also recorded in the survey results; local information suggests that one could indicate the location of unexploded World War Two ordnance. |
