Abstract:		 AOC Archaeology Group was commissioned by Mactaggart and Mickel, to undertake an archaeological evaluation on a proposed residential development at Lovers Loan, Dollar, Clackmannanshire (Planning Ref 07/00460/OUT). The development area consists of c. 3 ha of agricultural land situated on the south-east edge of Dollar. In total 16 trenches totalling 2,800 m2 metres were excavated. An archaeological watching brief was also undertaken on the topsoil strip of the haul road and site compound relating to the development.
