The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A geophysical (magnetometer) survey, covering 1.3 hectares of agricultural land at Burton Agnes was carried out to inform a planning application for the provision of car-parking facilities and access to Burton Agnes Hall, a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Anomalies caused by modern activity and by features shown on early mapping have been identified. In addition two anomalies of possible archaeological potential have been noted, one of which locates the continuation of a cropmark feature previously known to the immediate north of the site. A second cropmark feature, recorded within the site boundary, has not been identified. On the basis of the survey the archaeological potential of the site is considered to be low to moderate.
