Abstract:		 Border Archaeology was instructed by Mr N Kerr to carry out archaeological observation of groundworks relating to proposed alterations and extension to the existing public house at the Red Lion Inn, Kilpeck, Herefordshire, together with additional car parking (NGR: SO 4463 3038) (Planning ref: DCSW2008/0789/F). The archaeological programme of work was commissioned in response to a brief issued by Julian Cotton Esq., Archaeological Advisor, Herefordshire Council.
