Abstract:		 This small evaluation uncovered remains of possible prehistoric date in the form of ditches and a posthole. One of these ditches corresponded to a cropmark identified on an aerial photograph. Later activity was identified in the form of a post-medieval pit and leveling layer. No activity relating to Paxton Hall was identified.
