Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by CFA Archaeology at Spicer Hill, Penistone, South Yorkshire. The archaeological monitoring was undertaken during the removal of topsoil for three wind turbine bases, crane pads and associated infrastructure including access tracks. Other than cultivation furrows, plough scars and a series of post-medieval drainage gullies, no significant archaeological remains were encountered, and no finds were recovered. |
