Abstract:		 Wreningham, Bird in Hand, Norwich Road (ENF132536, TM 1660 9882) evaluation trenching for mixed use development revealed a pit and oven complex of Roman date immediately to the north of the public house and a scatter of Roman period finds, but no features, some 60m to the west. Through a foundation design change the oven has been preserved in situ below a new accommodation block.
