Abstract: |
Between 14th - 15th August 2014, OA East carried out an archaeological evaluation on land at the former Forensics Science Laboratory, Hinchingbrooke. In total, 10 trenches were excavated across the site. A single Roman boundary ditch was found, along with two post-medieval ditches and a number of furrows. In the trenches located in the eastern half of site, the original ground surface was found to have been severely truncated during the construction of the Forensic Science lab, impacting upon any archaeology that may have been present on the site. |
