Abstract: |
Watching brief on creation of new car park and play area. The site lay adjacent to the medieval deserted village of Pensthorpe. The topsoil strip for the car park was too shallow to reveal any features. Many small individual footing pits were observed in the new play area. These showed that that much of the site had been truncated removing any archaeological deposits. No finds were recovered from the site. |
