Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief on two geotechnical test pits was undertaken at Wedge House 32-40 Blackfriars Road, London Borough of Southwark on the 10th and 11th November 2014. The site is bounded by Colombo Street to the north and west, Blackfriars Road to the east, and the Friars Bridge Court Building to the south. Both test pits were located on the exterior of Wedge House, Test Pit 1 on the pavement on Colombo Road and Test Pit 2 on the Blackfriars Road pavement.
