Abstract: |
This watching brief took place during the excavation of foundation trenches for an annexe to the existing property at 3 Westgate, Yarm. The longest trench measured 8m in length with three shorter trenches of 5m in length. Each trench revealed an alluvial subsoil. This contained some medieval pottery from the 13th-14th centuries. |
