Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	This report presents details of the application of optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating to sediment samples collected during the excavation of a Middle Palaeolithic open-air site in Lynford Quarry near Mundford, Norfolk. The dates were obtained from sand-sized quartz grains and palaeodose determinations were made using a multi-grain single aliquot regenerative-dose (SAR) measurement protocol. The environmental dose rate was calculated using the results obtained from instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) and in situ gamma-ray spectroscopy measurements.
