Abstract:		 An archaeological watching brief was undertaken at Sadlers's Farm, Basildon Essex on behalf of Holleran Mouchel Parkman JV, between the 11th February and the 28th April 2009. Archaeology South East monitored the excavation of eight test pits, each measuring 3 metres in length and 1 metre in width. The purpose of the test pits was to analyse the underlying geology of the area. No archaeological remains or material was encountered.
