Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out at Greenburn Surface Mine (Wellhill Extension) within the area around Wellhill Farm and within the area around Hall of Auchincross Farm. A large number of field drains were uncovered indicating 19th and 20th century agricultural improvements, but there were no features, deposits or artefacts of archaeological significance.
