The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A programme of archaeological trial trenching evaluation was carried out in advance of works at Dalfad Surface Mine, Muirkirk, East Ayrshire. A number of features were recorded including pits, drains and a cobbled surface were recoded. The majority of features uncovered were related to a post-medieval farmstead shown on the 1st Edition OS map. There was no evidence of any features pre-dating the post-medieval farmstead.
