Abstract: |
This report details the results of historic building recoridng and an archaeological watching brief undertaken on the site of The Coach House, St Thomas More RC Church, Lucks Hill, West Malling, Kent by Pre-Construct Archaeology Ltd in July 2013. The building recording established that the Coach House had initially been built in the mid to late 19th century as a stable block and was later extended to the east to house horse carriages and later motor cars. The watching brief consisted of archaeological monitoring during the excavation of foundations and service trenches across the site. No features or finds of archaeological significance were discovered. |
