Abstract:		 A programme of archaeological monitoring works was required by Muir Walker and Pride Limited on behalf of their client in support of the residential development at The Manse Paddock, Forteviot, Perth and Kinross. These archaeological works were designed to mitigate any adverse impact on the archaeological remains within the development area. The conditioned consent required a programme of archaeological works to mitigate the impact on the archaeological resource within this archaeologically sensitive portion of Forteviot. Existing information indicated some 1100mm of archaeologically insignificant topsoil present on the site.
