Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was conducted by NPS Archaeology for Anglian Water Services Ltd during groundworks associated with the construction of a pumping station at Runham Road, Stokesby. No archaeological features were observed in the groundworks and no artefacts were recovered. It appears likely that medieval and post-medieval artefacts recovered close to the site by previous metal-detecting were the result of chance losses or of spreading arable fields with domestic waste (manure). |
