Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 2.7 hectares of cultivated agricultural land. No anomalies of probable or possible archaeological origin have been identified. All responses are likely to be caused by modern features. There are areas of agricultural activity, most likely to be ploughing, across the survey area, as well as a wide spread of magnetic spikes, probably caused by ferrous objects. There are also areas of magnetic debris along the western edge of the site. |
