Abstract: |
A detailed gradiometry survey was conducted over approximately 17.5 hectares of agricultural land. No features of probable archaeological interest have been located. In the southern half of the eastern section of the site a linear anomaly probably relates to a former field boundary visible on historic mapping dating from 1901. Other anomalies observed are likely modern in origin including ploughing, ferrous objects and scattered debris in the topsoil and magnetic disturbance relating to field boundaries and fences. |
