Abstract: |
NN 03840 29630 to NN 03395 29610 Watching briefs were maintained during excavations along the route of a new hydro-electric scheme at Allt Gruiniche, Bridge of Awe, near Taynuilt. On 10 July 2014 a trench was cut across the 18th-century Dalmally to Bonawe military road at NN 03592 29749 where little of the original make up of the road survived. On 1 August 2014 topsoil stripping for a new access track linking the power house to the A85 road was monitored, nothing of archaeological significance being uncovered. |
