Abstract:		 A record of a former lodge was prepared during conversion to residential accommodation. The lodge originally served the 1837-8 Tiverton Union Workhouse. It is a single-storey, two-roomed building with an attached gateway that was the main entrance to the workhouse. One room was heated. A wooden floor had been partially replaced in concrete.
