Abstract: |
From the 1st to the 2nd of September 2015, Oxford Archaeology East was commissioned to undertake a trial trench evaluation on land to the east of Askham House, Doddington, Cambridgeshire (NGR: TL 39415, 90950) ahead of the construction of ten houses. No features of archaeological origin were identified. A small assemblage of finds dating from the Iron Age through to the post-medieval period were recovered from the topsoil and subsoil. These are consistent with the manuring of fields and are unlikely to indicate significant activity on or near the proposed development site. |
