Abstract: |
Addyman Archaeology were commissioned to carry out recording and monitoring works before and during the partial dismantling of the central body of the south range of Blair Adam House on the Blair Adam estate by Kelty, Fife. The poor condition of the range had necessitated its partial dismantling on safety grounds. This resulted in the removal of the roof, the frontage (south) wall at first floor level, and parts of internal partitions and the end walls to east and west Recording works were required through a Planning Condition (Listed Building consent 12/01851/LBC) placed upon architectural proposals for the range by Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust (PKHT), as Planning Advisors to Perth and Kinross Council.
