Abstract:		 Allen Archaeology Limited was commissioned by Mr Konrad Parlour to undertake an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching on land east off Orchard Lane in Great Glen in Leicestershire. The site lies in an archaeological sensitive area of medieval earthworks. Although the proposed development is concentrated north of the earthworks on a partially landscaped plot of land the evaluation showed surviving structural remains of post-medieval date as well as a cobbled surface possibly dating late medieval.
