Abstract: |
The second phase of trenching revealed a modest range of archaeological features and finds. These included a few sherds of Iron Age pottery, a Roman ditch and possible Roman pit, but most of the deposits were of medieval date, with two clusters likely to reflect components of a settlement pattern in adjacent areas. Most of the site, however, contained nothing of interest. |
