Abstract: |
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken with respect to initial site investigation works relating to a proposed wind farm at Burn of Whilk, near Wick, Caithness. The watching brief involved the monitoring of 115 site investigation trial pits and 23 plate tests being excavated throughout the wind farms proposed haul roads and turbine locations. Neither significant archaeological features nor artefacts were encountered. |
