Abstract: |
Report 1285: An archaeological desk-based assessment was undertaken on behalf of Glendale Environmental and the Environment Agency at North Littleton, Worcestershire (NGR ref SP 08414774 - SP 08204709; SMR ref WSM 33824). The study provided and assessment and photographic record of four bridges within and around the village of North Littleton. The bridges have been dated to the 18th century with major phases of repair and adaptation in the 19th and 20th centuries, although it is likely that crossing points originated earlier, presumably as fords. Report 1299: An archaeological watching brief was undertaken on behalf of Glendale Environmental of the Geotechnical Investigations, North Littleton Flood Alleviation Scheme (Phase 2), North and Middle Littleton, Worcestershire (NGR ref SP 08414774 - SP 08204709; HER ref. 33974). Eleven test pits and four boreholes were monitored, but no significant results obtained. |
