Abstract: |
Two archaeological evaluation trenches were excavated within an area of open ground upon the study site. The aim of the archaeological evaluation was to evaluate the archaeological potential of the site, to determine the presence or absence of any surviving archaeology and how the proposed works would or would not affect those remains. The evaluation witnessed that early 20th century terracing of the site had severely truncated the archaeological horizon, the only feature observed was a 20th Century flower bed associate with the current building on the site. |
