Abstract: |
The 40m of evaluation trenching provided evidence for the presence of archaeological activity on the site despite areas having to be avoided due to the presence of services and contamination in the ground. Ar5chaeological features were only identified in trench one, which include an east west ditch of Roman date. This would have run parallel to the Alconbury Brook immediately to the south of the development area. |
