Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Pre-Construct Archaeology Ltd at the former Co-Op site in East Ham, London Borough of Newham. Five trenches were excavated, where the remains of St. John's church were found. The site was heavily truncated by the construction of the Co-Op and its basement. No burials were found and no archaeological features or deposits dating earlier than the 19th century were found. |
