Abstract: |
A walk-over survey was undertaken on 27 January 2015 along the route of a proposed new hydro-electric scheme at Glenburn, near Hunterston, North Ayrshire. The route crossed rough ground and improved pasture and passed near the foot of a slope upon which stands Castle Hill, a prehistoric homestead (NS25SW 6; SAM3305), although nothing of archaeological significance was evident within the development area.
