Abstract:		 South West Archaeology Ltd. was instructed to undertake a historic building survey of the northern end of the Luttrell Arms building complex ahead of development works. The complex is made up of buildings from a range of dates, associated with a number of development phases of the Luttrell Arms and charting its history as a hotel and inn. The northern end is the only area due to be affected by the insertion of a tunnel, underground store and new 'garden bar' and as such was the focus of this study.
