Abstract:		 Archaeology South-East (ASE), a division of University College London Centre for Applied Archaeology (UCLCAA), was commissioned by Environmental Dimension Partnership (EDP) on behalf of their client, Travis Perkins Ltd, to undertake an archaeological watching brief in advance of redevelopment on New Road/Pier Road, Littlehampton, West Sussex (NGR 502782 101847). An area of ground reduction for ground beams, a test pit and a service trench were all monitored, however, no archaeological deposits, features or artefacts were recovered. Most of the natural horizon had been heavily disturbed by previous construction.
