Abstract: |
A Magnetometer survey was undertaken over the proposed site for a wind turbine at New Hartswell Farm, Herodsfoot, to establish whether there are likely to be any issues regarding heritage assets which might have to be dealt with during the planning process. Features visible in the survey plots, in addition to background magnetic activity caused by the strongly magnetic topsoil, include parallel linear markings which are result of past cultivation, and a linear feature at the western edge of the main survey block which is a former ditch or boundary. |
