The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 A geophysical (magnetometer) survey, covering approximately 1.1 hectares, was carried out on agricultural land immediately to the east of Stumpcross Lane, Pontefract, prior to the proposed development of the site. Anomalies indicative of recent magnetic disturbance on the site were identified, but also evidence for the continuation of an Iron Age/Roman field system previously identified through crop mark evidence. As a result, the archaeological potential of this site is deemed to be medium.
