Abstract:		 Archaeological evaluation trenching was undertaken across two land parcels proposed for development at Raw Holdings, East Calder, West Lothian. This comprised an 8% evaluation of two greenfield sites. The evaluation trenching did not uncover any significant archaeological features. Thin topsoil over clay rich subsoils with the occasional outcrop of bedrock, and in the south-eastern corner an area of sands and gravels, were noted
